"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Catch Up

I am so tired this pregnancy.  I NEVER took naps with my other 2.. even after they were born.  My age must be catching up with me because I take a nap almost every day now.... yikes.  Blogging has become a playing catch up game lately...so this post is just that. Lots of pics & little explanation :) Because that is my energy level!

Annual gingerbread house decorating... and Christmas Eve gingerbread cookie making/decorating for Santa:

Christmas Eve/Christmas Morning: Santa brought Lion King stuff for the kiddos... they have been obsessed with the movie since we took them forever ago to the theater to watch it.  They act out the scenes and everything!

James "caught" Santa getting toys out from his toy bag again this year and showed the kids the pics first thing Christmas morning.  Then the kids were allowed to see what Santa brought them and go through their stockings. The rest of the presents had to wait until after church.. which was only 9am-10am so they were totally cool with it.

Santa always brings a Christmas sweater for the kids' luvies.  Besides the Lion King gifts, Hyrum's fave present was a garbage truck from Isa and Isa's fave present was a jewelry making kit from Hyrum :)  They had a GREAT Christmas.
