"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Isabelle's 5th Birthday

Here is Isa before leaving for school on the morning of her 5th b-day on Sept. 9th!
She was in a fun lovin mood and wanted to take some silly pics so what the birthday girl wants, the birthday girl gets....

That evening we had a little birthday celebration.  She got lots of love and gifts from family.  We had a really yummy meal- I made a zucchini white sauce with penne pasta that she loooooves.

During her lunch break at school, James and I picked her up and took her out to eat at her fave place in Rigby: Gator Jacks.  I also made andes mint cupcakes for her class and then her b-day cake was a last minute thrown together My Little Pony cake.
