"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Botany Lessons

I decided I would post pics of Isabelle's preschool work that hangs on the fridge so that she can see this when she is older. The first 2 weeks of school they covered Botany. She learned about plants and their root systems, herbaceous plants, woody plants, deciduous trees, photosynthesis, did a harvest workshop including learning new songs about harvesting fruits/veggies, and went to the BYU-I gardens with her class to wrap up the lessons. Here are some samples of her hard work:

Next lessons are on Anatomy & include a visit to Madison Gymnastics!!
