"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

School on my Birthday?!

Isabelle was pretty confused that she had to go to school even though it was her birthday (Sept. 9th). Apparently when you are turning 4 years old, it is a national holiday that requires being home ALL DAY :) Fortunately, I was able to get her excited about taking special b-day treats to her class.

She also was excited about her special b-day breakfast: pancakes with sprinkles and whip cream... at 7:00 IN THE MORNING. Can we say sugar high?!
-All dressed & ready to go to school!-
-Mommy's favorite present-

-Hello Kitty Cake-
