"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Fall Fun

Well as usual, time has been passing by much too quick. Here is a short update on our little family. We went to Washington D.C. September 19th-26th for brother Ben's wedding.

We had a good time but vacation with a toddler on the run doesn't really feel like a vacation :)

Isabelle had been walking since her 1st birthday. She will be 14 months soon and she likes to spend her days roaming around the house, picking up items and finding new places for them. We always have boxes or cans of food in the bedrooms and t.v. remotes in the kitchen. Isabelle also loves to spend time outside so when it is warm enough we let her run around crazy all she wants! We know that Isabelle will be a great big sister some day because she always makes sure she has her baby doll with her.. she hugs her, kisses her, rocks her, and pats her back.. and I even caught her giving her juice and cheerios one day! So loving! When she is at Grandma Watson's house during the weekdays while mommy works, Isabelle likes riding in her play car. She also enjoys all the yummy snacks that are always at Grandma's! Grandpa usually wears a hat so when he doesn't have one on Isabelle goes up to Grandpa, pats her head and says "hat".. she's telling Grandpa that he needs his hat on! It's hilarious! Nothing else very exciting has been going on in our lives.. just work, work, work... and enjoying our daughter! We will be carving our pumpkins Monday night, so we should have some fun pictures of that soon!
