"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Fourth of July- Sunday
After church, we headed over to my parents for a family dinner. We always have dinner at their place on Sunday's, but there was extra Watson family in town for the holiday so we had a nice big family dinner. The kids loved all the extra attention everybody gave them since they were the only kids there. James took them each for a 4 wheeler ride and they thought it was so much fun- Hyrum can't say 4 wheeler so he keeps calling it a "oh-lo" haha. He is such a boy- I can see the pure excitement in his eyes when he hears the sound of a truck or a tractor. He drops everything he is doing to run to a window and see what's going on. You can imagine how much he LOVES to drive Papa's tractors- and he thinks EVERY truck and EVERY tractor we see is Papa's. He would love to tag along on the farm every day. Isabelle couldn't care less about tractors- she prefers to play inside :) Night and Day huh? They are so opposite of each other!
