"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Final Dance Performance

Isabelle had her final dance performance to end the summer session the 2nd week in July. It was very short and sweet- just a little show for the parent's and other family. Isabelle's duo went first and they did their "Bringing Home a Baby Bumble Bee" Dance. Then the older girls did their song and we ended the night with another dance from Isa's duo- "Shake Senora". The girls did SO SO GOOD! They weren't nervous at all and they just had fun with it. Their teacher handed out a package of skittles for all the students and then Isa went outside to see her surprise from daddy: he got her a DOZEN roses AND a big box of big gum drops. She was so happy and kept saying thank you thank you thank you to her daddy- it meant so much to her! James is such a sensitive dad- he knows just how to treat his little girl and her precious heart :)
Isa is EXCITED to start dance up again in the fall because they get to learn some ballet, which she has been wanting to do! I love being able to let her pick and enjoy the things she wants to participate in- being her mom is the BEST!!
