"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Easter Time AGAIN!!

So our city easter egg hunt was cancelled due to horrible snow and wind, but it was rescheduled for this past weekend. There was SO much candy for all the kids! I don't have pics of Hyrum since James had him in the smaller kids section and I had Isa. It was really fun and I am glad Isa doesn't have to ask me EVERY day if "this is the day of the Easter Egg hunt at the park?"

There was STILL candy left all over the place 15 minutes after the siren went off!
Isa won a free pizza and free french fries. Hyrum collected 2,000 suckers. No joke. He was already eating one in this family pic!
Isabelle went shopping with me and my mom for a little girls only day. It was a blast! Isa LOVES to shop. She picked out a Strawberry Shortcake backpack for preschool and a cute wall hanging for her bedroom. Once we got home, we walked in the door just to turn around and walk out since some friends invited us to a BBQ in Rexburg. It was a really fun evening. Isabelle had fun with their 3 year old little boy, but she fell in love with their 7 month old baby girl. She REALLY wants a little sister. Uh oh. I told her, no, no way, not now :)
