Weekend Family Date

We had such a blast on Saturday. James got up WAY early to attend an early temple session with his Elder's Quorum Presidency while me and the kids slept in until 8am. After our normal morning of getting ready and breakfast, James got back home with a surprise for Isa. He got her tulips! It was so sweet. She felt so happy and special- she kept clapping her hands with excitement! Then we loaded up to head into Rexburg.

We heard that there was a fun bouncy/jump toy place in The Rex movie theater building. We got there right as they were unlocking the doors... so I figured we would have a good hour to play around before it got too busy. Well we walked in and there were THREE birthday parties going on. It was so crazy! I was betting on kids splitting there heads open any second. Isabelle had a BLAST, but Hyrum was not a fan. He hung onto James for dear life the whole time. I had to help Isabelle with most of the climbing until she finally got a hang of it, but MAN- I was SORE the next day!!

I made James go once with Isabelle and he told me "never again" haha:

Afterwards, we headed to Smith Park to let the kids play. Isabelle always goes straight for the toys and goes up and down the slide a million times. Hyrum on the other hand, doesn't even acknowledge the toys. He prefers to wander around and collect pine cones :) It was still really cold and the slide was a bit wet, but the kids enjoyed it. Then we met up with some friends and had lunch. James had to work so we parted ways at his office and headed back home.
