"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Best Friends

We had the best play date today...very long overdue! Becca and I have been great friends since we were 2 years old and now our darling girls are the best of friends! It is CRAZY to see this picture because this is EXACTLY what we looked like 23 years ago!! I had to snag the pic from Becca's blog since I forgot my camera. Thanks for the nice chat and fun times Becca :)

That is the cutest picture! And I just have to say, I just caught up on your other posts and you are such a good mom. How do you do it? I've tried bedtime routines (and I left a comment on that one, so you'll have to read it there), I hate messes too and still my kids don't care. I think I have pretty great kids, but how do you get yours to act so perfectly?? It's simply amazing. You're amazing!
