"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Valentine's Day

I made heart shaped pancakes for breakfast with strawberry syrup- Isabelle thought they were so sweet! I think this was the first year ever that I did not get roses, but I didn't even care since my awesome husband suprised me with an ipod!!! It is sooooo nice to have while I exercise :) That evening we went to a church dance while my parents watched the kids at our house since they were asleep. It was fun and romantic- but my favorite part was just being able to talk to James without being interrupted every 5 seconds :)
