"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Christmas 2008
Christmas was WONDERFUL!!! There was lots of baking, cookie delivering, and anticipation of Santa's arrival. We were so excited for Isabelle's reaction on Christmas morning, but she woke up grumpy and wouldn't even open her presents.. ha ha.. oh well! She did finally smile when she saw her new tricycle though! We spent the morning at our house playing with our new presents and then headed over to my parents house and had Christmas all over again. Apparently Santa thinks we live there too :) Once evening rolled around we went over to Rand & Caroline's for some dessert... and some news... Jessi is engaged!!! YAY!! We left their place around 7pm to get the kids to bed and we relaxed the rest of the evening.. it was soooo nice! James's favorite gift: his new laptop case, Meg's favorite gift: complete spa package, Isa's favorite gift: new tricycle, Hyrum's favorite gift: exersaucer. THANK YOU SANTA!!
