"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Time at Home & Hyrum's 1st Sunday at Church

The days have been flying by at our house since Hyrum arrived. I spend my days running around at work managing two kids and book work... then I go home and spend the rest of the day running around managing two kids, doing chores, and getting dinner prepared. WHEW!! By the end of the day I am exhausted!! Here are some pics of the kids when they were BOTH content at the same time:

Last Sunday was Hyrum's first day at church. He slept through sacrament and sunday school, but was hungry during Relief Society. It was a pretty good day... but it took from 10am-1:30pm to get ready for church!! Hopefully we will get faster as a family before the new year arrives since church will be at 9am!

He is a beautiful baby! Good luck managing two children. Sounds like an awful lot of work to me! But so fun, right?
