"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Summer Swimming Fun!!

Isabelle LOVES LOVES LOVES her little swimming pool this year. When she first gets in it, she doesn't want to sit down- so every time she squats down a bit to get a toy her bum gets wet and she yells "BUTT!!" It's sooo funny!

Xander watches Isabelle's every move in the pool. If she gets up then he has to get up. If she sits down then he sits down.

megan you look so cute all pregnant! We really wanted to be there too, but with all the traveling we did/are doing this year money and vacation were really tight! We are planning on making it a tradition again, starting next year though!

she is the cutest little thing ever. Caden has to have 2 pools set up to sit down in one of them. A little tiny baby one and then a bigger little tiny baby one. And then he'll crawl between them. Does your dog ever chew things up? I'm about to give ours away because she chews up all of Caden's outside toys.

Lydia-
If you look closely in the pic, Xander is on a tie out connected to his kennel. It will only let him get within one foot of Isa's pool. She freaks if he gets too close for her comfort. He doesn't mind as long as he is able to be outside with us. As for the toys, Isa likes to "give" her outside toys to Xander, but I'm too controlling and don't let her :) I show her that the doggy has his own toys and that she can't play with his toys so he can't play with her toys either. So far Xander hasn't destroyed anything! Good Luck! Give Caden a big kiss from us!
