"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Finally... Some FAMILY TIME!!

Since the weather has been nice here, our Saturdays usually consist of house chores and tons of yard work....very boring, I know :) SO, we decided to forget all the chores last Saturday and take Isa to the zoo instead! First we had a picnic at the park and then we went into the zoo. Isabelle enjoyed seeing all the "farm" type animals. The goats were definately her favorite. James and I agreed that we have a better zoo in our backyard for Isa since we have neighbors behind our house with lots of goats. We also have my cousin's horse, Senorita, behind our house.. Isa calls her "Rita" :) We left the zoo just in time because it was getting really crowded as we were leaving. Isa fell asleep as soon as her head hit the carseat. I love warm weather and how it wears my active toddler out :)

-The real tigers wouldn't come out of there den, so we took pics with the "nice" tiger.-

-Isa was entertained by her stroller for a while-

i've been wanting to take courtney to the zoo for a while now, it looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Also I can't believe Isa made it this far without having her first sucker! Courtney had hers at like 5 months! (compliments of daddy, of course) Cute pictures ; )
