"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Happy 1st Birthday Sienna!!

My very last baby is no longer a baby :(  Oh how time flew with this one.  Especially with all the stress of moving clear across the country.  I really feel like time cheated me with this girl!  She is such a doll and so full of life.  We called her our "runt" when she was born because she was so tiny and didn't grow very fast.  Well, she has stayed the same- she is small for her age and just looks petite :)  She LOVES to go swimming so I made her an ocean cake.  She gobbled it up and enjoyed every bite!  We had the neighbors over and she loved all the attention.  My mom flew in so she could be there for the big day!  We love this special girl so much.  Hyrum has a bond with her that is so sweet.  They loved to play together and drive each other bonkers.  He loves her and thinks she is beautiful :)  She watches and learns from him.  She looks to Isa has her helper.  Isa can always figure out what she needs or wants.  She is like her little mommy :)  Besides swimming, Sienna loves to go outside, eat lots of foods, play with kids, be LOUD, and read books.  We call her SiSi.  We love her and feel so blessed to have her in our home.
