"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Halloween 2012

Halloween was fun this year! The kids celebrated by having an awesome party at school  Hyrum dressed as Batman, Isa dressed as "Catarina".  The had soooo much fun :) After school, Hyrum decided he wanted to be Spiderman, so he switched costumes.  I ran into town at the last minute and found a jailbird costume for James and a devil woman costume for me :) The kids thought it was great that we dressed up this year.  Sienna SQUEEZED into her pumpkin costume.  Now every one of my babies has worn it for their first Halloween.  We headed over to my parents for pizza and treats.  Then we stopped at our ward's trunk or treat.  James handed out the candy while I took the kids around to collect their treats.  They had lots of fun and ended the night with donuts and hot chocolate.  Sienna was so tired by the end so we booked it on out of there as fast as we could and got the kids to bed.  Fun day!
