"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Missing Daddy

James had a last minute business trip to Vegas today. I am totally bummed. There was a chance he was going to have to leave today, but then he was told no...definitely not going to Vegas this week. So he convinced me to watch a scary movie last night. Then we find out midday today that he has to leave tonight. Oy. I need more notice than that to prepare for single parenthood for the rest of the week. Wish me luck.... and no nightmares from that scary movie- i hate scary movies!!!
