"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Father's Day

We made a yummy goody box for James full of his favorite foods/drinks for his gift- can't go wrong with that ;) We served him breakfast in bed and took extra good care of him all day... he even had a much longer nap than normal. I had the kids fill out these sheets about their daddy- some of their answers were pretty funny.
Then they were supposed to draw a picture of daddy on the back.

We love James so much and he is absolutely the best daddy EVER. It is easy to see what an awesome daddy he is just by looking at the kids' faces when they are with him- pure happiness between them!
