"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Arizona

My parents rented a house for 2 months this year in Arizona so we headed down the week of Valentines. Me and Isabelle were REALLY sick with strep, but we boarded the plane anyhow- I knew my mom would take good care of us and get us all healthy again :)
The kids had a ball going on walks, eating lots of sweets, chasing bunnies, finding lizards, going swimming, and playing at the park that was right around the corner.

Can't wait till next year! It was 80 degrees EVERY day we were there!! I miss it!
