"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

October/November School Work

This post is for Isabelle's school work so she can see her progress over time. In October they learned a lot of fun Halloween songs and did some cute crafts and had an awesome Halloween party. In November they learned all about the Pilgrim's and Indians and had a yummy Thanksgiving feast. We brought rolls and turkey cookies that turned out SO CUTE!! Isabelle has been moving right along with her letters. She can identify and write all upper and lower case letters and knows the phonetics of each letter. Reading is right around the corner!! She has been working so hard :)
