We spent most of the day cleaning the house and getting ready for company on Christmas. James and Isabelle got all new hardware on all the cabinets while me and Hyrum ran errands- bank, grocery store, and mail. It was SO nice having James home on a week day- I could totally get use to it. I made gingerbread cookies with the kids for Santa and we decorated them so cute, but forgot to take pics :( They tasted DELISH too!! Then we did our traditional Christmas Eve gift- which is always pajamas for the kiddos. Isabelle was so in love with her "soft, cozy" pajamas and Hyrum was on cloud nine with Thomas the Train pj's. Then our family gift was a dvd- Frosty the Snowman. We watched that until Grandpa and Grandma arrived with pizza and then we had ourselves an awesome dinner. Right before bed, James told the Christmas Story of Christ's birth and we let the kids hold the different pieces of the nativity while listening- which they loved because they have been told for the last month that they can NOT touch the nativity under ANY circumstance :) Afterwards we sang "Away in a Manger" and tucked the little ones into bed. Perfect Christmas Eve!!
Christmas Morning:
James took his laptop into Isa's room at about 7:30am to show her that he CAUGHT SANTA!!! She was so flippin amazed- it was AWESOME. She went around ALL day telling everybody that "daddy caught SANTA!!- not in a net or a rope, but in a picture and Santa didn't even see daddy because he was so sneaky!!" Here are the pics James caught of Santa in our house checkin his list and taking presents out of his bag:

More to Come..... :)
