"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

Hyrum's B-day

I know every mother says it, but it is so true- Where did time go?! How can my Rummie be 2 years old?! He is such a fun little boy. His favorites right now are:
--dirt: he will walk FOREVER in powdery farm dirt back and forth, back and forth- it is a bit weird :)
--tractors, balewagons, trucks, loaders, and 4 wheelers
--grandma :) They have the cutest bond- he is totally in love with her and she can't stand being away from him for more than 1 day.
--muffins: I seriously make a batch of muffins 2-3 times a week just to keep him happy.
--Bob the Builder: He is finally into tv thanks to this show- it is the only one he will watch and he gets so excited jumping up and down yelling "dirt", "bob bilder", "YAY"!!
--beans
--reading books every night
--mashed potatoes & gravy
--brushing his teeth
--cooking
--copying everything Bella does
--telling on Bella for EVERYTHING: he always says "Bella do dat" with the saddest face.

We had a fun little b-day party for him and he got some really fun presents that made him so happy! We love you so much Hyrum and you make us feel so blessed every day!! You are a BIG boy now :)
