"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

Lone Pine had free fishing day for kids so we loaded up and headed to the nursery. Isa sat still for maybe 5 minutes, casting her line out with her daddy. Then it started to get crowded so we walked further around the pond and found a new spot. By now Isa was bored with fishing and was busy playing with rocks. James on the other hand was having so much fun because he caught a fish on his second cast with Isa's princess fishing pole. It was so funny when I tried to get a pic of Isa with the fish... she kept running away so all you see is her shadow... she was freaking out! Anyways, we had a good day- learned Isa hates fishing and James is great with a princess fishing pole...he caught 3!!
