"Parents must bring light and truth into their homes by one family prayer, one scripture study session, one family home evening, one book read aloud, one song, and one family meal at a time. They know that the influence of righteous, conscientious, persistent, daily parenting is among the most powerful and sustaining forces for good in the world. The health of any society, the happiness of its people, their prosperity, and their peace all find common roots in the teaching of children in the home." - Elder L. Tom Perry

I can take care of Hyrum...

Isabelle has been changing quite a bit. At first she didn't really seem to notice Hyrum when he was born... just something extra in the room. Then she started being annoyed with him because he would always grab her toys, hair, arm. Now she thinks that being a big sister is cool because she gets to "take care" of him. She loves to get behind him (so he can't attack her...haha) and play with him by handing him toys and playing with his hair. I like it because Hyrum HATES it when I leave the room, but if Isa is right by him then he doesn't care if mommy leaves :)
-"I can take care of Hyrum."-
-"Sometimes I need to show him who's boss... and then mommy shows me who's REALLY the boss!"-
-"I LOVE being a BIG sister."
