For Mother's Day James and Isabelle gave Mommy a book and a beautiful heart shaped locket with a place for Isabelle's picture. We made Grandma Watson a wonderful meal consisting of steak and chicken kabobs on the grill, salads, and a yummy chocolate cake for dessert. Isabelle gave her Grandma Watson a cute poem in a frame about "coming to Grandma's house". She loved it. Grandma Watson was really happy to be able to sit and relax while we made all of the Sunday dinner. Over all it was a fantastic day for us Mommy's.
Isabelle is so close to crawling. She gets on her hands and knees, rocks and then decides to lay down or cry to be picked up. She'll eventually get it... and we will have to baby proof the house! Isabelle can now say momma and dada, and she will even "baby sign" for "milk". When we walk near her when she is sitting on the floor she reaches her hands up in the air to be picked up... and when you keep walking she lets you know how disappointed she is! She's a smarty! She loves to eat whatever mommy and daddy are eating instead of her baby food. We think it is because her Grandpa Watson loves to give her bites of his cookies, candy, donuts, chips... pretty much everything he eats. Isabelle has two bottom teeth and one top tooth. She doesn't chew her food yet, she just lets it sit in her mouth until it dissolves and then swallows it so she doesn't get to eat much finger foods yet. She has also been waking up around 2-3 times a night now. Mommy and Daddy miss the nights when she use to sleep 12 hours straight! She likes to move to the top of her crib and turn horizontally to sleep lately... guess it is comfy up there! We love her so much and can't believe she will be 9 months in a couple of weeks. Enjoy some more pics of our beautiful, gorgeous, perfect daughter!
